How Much Does Dumpster Rental Cost in DFW?
Straight answers from a local North Texas crew.
Dumpster pricing can look confusing because every company charges a little differently. Here is how our 20 yard dumpster pricing works in Flower Mound, Lewisville, Argyle, Denton and the rest of North Texas, and what to watch for no matter who you rent from.
Our 20 yard dumpster pricing
A 20 yard dumpster from BlackJack Haul Off & Moving is $395 for 3 days or $475 for 7 days. Both include 2 tons of disposal. If you go over 2 tons, extra weight is $85 per ton. If you keep the dumpster longer than your rental period, each extra day is $25. Contractors can contact us for contractor pricing.
What affects the cost of a dumpster rental
Size matters, but so do rental length and weight. A bigger dumpster costs more, a longer rental costs more, and heavy material like concrete, dirt, brick or roofing shingles can reach the weight limit quickly even if the dumpster looks half empty.
Delivery distance, the type of material and the disposal site can also change the price. That is why the best question to ask any company is: what is included, and what do you charge if I go over?
How much fits in a 20 yard dumpster?
A 20 yard dumpster holds about 20 cubic yards, which is roughly 6 to 8 pickup truck loads. It is a popular size for garage and home cleanouts, kitchen and bathroom remodels, flooring and roofing projects and yard cleanup. If you are not sure it is big enough, call us and describe the project.
How to avoid extra charges
Keep heavy material to a minimum if you want to stay under the included weight, and do not load prohibited items. Plan your rental length around the real project timeline, since extra days add up. Ask us before loading anything you are unsure about.
